The role of Asset Surveyor will include:
- Undertaking stock condition surveys and other property inspections across a broad range of stock including health and safety assessments.
- Involvement in disrepair cases, complaints, permission requests, repairs monitoring and other property related queries.
- Producing reports and documentation for work specifications and tenders.
- Supporting delivery of the cyclical programme, including surveys, specifications, resident consultations and liaising with other stakeholders.
- Contributing, as appropriate, to special programmes and projects in support of the Group's values and objectives.
Skills and experiences:
- To ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified to Degree, HND or HNC in Surveying or currently undertaking the qualification. As part of the interview process, candidates will be required to bring with them the original certification verifying proof of their qualifications. Copies and CSCS cards will not be accepted.
- Some experience in a building and surveying environment.
- Proven experience of working to deadlines and prioritising workloads.
- Working knowledge of legislation and current practices.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to interpret computerized data.
- This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence.
