What you will do:
- Support the registered nurse in implementing an agreed plan of care in collaboration with the patient and in accordance with instructions and training received, while promoting safe patient care.
- Be eager to develop and apply new skills to maintain and enhance clinical service delivery.
- Engage with patients in a non-judgmental and compassionate manner to support their substance misuse recovery journey.
- Utilise your excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and the healthcare team.
- Demonstrate good IT skills and IT literacy to maintain accurate and thorough documentation.
- Thrive in a busy environment, managing tasks efficiently.
- Operate unsupervised while adhering to policy and procedures to ensure the highest standards of care.
Qualifications required:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care.
- Experience or knowledge of substance misuse.
- A non-judgmental and compassionate approach.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good IT skills and IT literacy.
- Ability to work within a busy environment.
- Ability to work unsupervised while following policy and procedures.
