Senior Social Work Practitioner – Child in Need & Child Protection Team

Location: Bracknell

Contract: Locum, Full-time, 3 months

Salary: £42 per hour

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality social work support to children in need and those under child protection, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Manage a complex caseload including CIN, CP, CLA, and care proceedings, maintaining comprehensive and accurate records.
• Develop and review child protection plans and conduct assessments to ensure timely decision-making for children and families.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external partners to deliver effective, coordinated services for the child and family.
• Facilitate in-person meetings to discuss strategies and review plans, ensuring all voices are heard and considered.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Experience as a social work practitioner in CIN/CP settings.
• Ability to travel to Bracknell and work on-site as required.
• Eligible to work in the UK and registered with the relevant social work regulatory body.
