What you will do:
- – Lead, manage, and motivate a fostering team to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- – Oversee the recruitment, assessment, and approval process for potential foster carers.
- – Monitor and evaluate casework, ensuring policy compliance and safeguarding procedures are followed.
- – Collaborate with other departments and agencies to optimize the support and development of foster carers.
- – Provide expert guidance and coaching to team members, driving professional development and best practices.
- – Manage resources effectively to deliver excellent outcomes for children and families.
- – Engage with stakeholders, fostering strong relationships to better serve the community.
Requirements of the Team Manager:
To excel in this role, you will need a degree or equivalent in social work with current Social Work England registration. Recent managerial experience as a Team Manager, Deputy Team Manager, or Assistant Team Manager in Children’s Services is crucial, demonstrating significant frontline expertise.
