What you will do:

  • Support the X-Ray and CT services by producing high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Maintain a safe environment for both patients and staff.
  • Complete in-house training and carry out Dacrocystogram procedures.
  • Transfer images to and from PACS for second opinions and MDT preparations.
  • Undertake CT scanning, fluoroscopy, and general radiography duties.
  • Cannulate patients and administer contrast media in line with Trust protocols.
  • Assist with workload organisation and image quality assurance activities.
  • Support audit, governance, and continuous service improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • HCPC Registration
  • Competency in CT, General X-Ray, and Fluoroscopy
  • Experience with PACS systems
  • IV Cannulation proficiency
  • Ability to manage a busy imaging workload independently
  • Strong communication and patient care skills
  • NHS Radiography experience
  • Proficiency in using RIS and PACS systems
  • Experience in administering contrast media
  • Previous experience in ophthalmic or specialist imaging services
