We have an exciting opportunity for experienced Phlebotomists looking to take on a locum position across key locations including Milton Keynes, Oxford, Luton, Wembley, and Slough. This ongoing opportunity provides a varied work environment as you engage with volunteers on mobile units. We are specifically looking for individuals who are trained in phlebotomy and possess a clean driving licence.

What you will do:

  • Conduct blood draws from volunteers proficiently and with care.
  • Ensure that all blood samples are collected and stored in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Travel to designated locations in Milton Keynes, Oxford, Luton, Wembley, and Slough to perform phlebotomy duties.
  • Maintain accurate records of blood draws and manage necessary documentation.
  • Engage with volunteers in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service.
  • Adhere to the highest standards of hygiene and safety at all times.

Qualifications / Requirements / Person Specification:

  • Current competencies in venepuncture, cannulation, and blood drawing.
  • Clean driving licence.
  • Up-to-date DBS certificate.
  • Relevant competency certificates to be submitted alongside your CV.

Shift Pattern:

  • Monday - Friday: 07:50 - 18:10
  • Sunday: 10:50 - 15:55
  • No scheduled appointments currently on Saturdays, though they may be introduced later.
