What you will do
- Manage a caseload of children, ensuring your statutory duties are met within the necessary timescales.
- Conduct thorough assessments, statutory visits, and contribute to permanence and pathway planning.
- Develop child-centric care plans that ensure safety and promote well-being and stability.
- Work in partnership with foster carers, residential providers, health services, and other key agencies to ensure holistic care for the children.
- Compile detailed reports and professional assessments to be used in court proceedings and reviews.
Person Specification
- Recognised qualification in Social Work (Degree, DipSW, CQSW, or equivalent).
- Track record in Children's Social Care.
- Proven experience with children in care or similar settings is essential.
- Evidence of continuous professional development.
- Registration with Social Work England is required.
