Band 7 MSK Podiatrist Locum Position in Podiatry, Beckenham, London

Working part-time, you’ll have the privilege of managing your own MSK Podiatry caseload while running independent clinics. Benefit from a perfect work-life balance with a working pattern of 3 days per week, Monday, Thursday, and Friday, with the possibility of ad hoc Tuesdays.

What you will do:
- Manage an MSK Podiatry caseload and run independent MSK Podiatry clinics.
- Work alongside the MSK Lead Podiatrist to deliver comprehensive care.
- Assess new MSK patients, develop and implement treatment plans.
- Manufacture and modify orthoses and insoles according to patient needs.
- Review and progress patient treatment plans, ensuring effective discharge planning.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation, ensuring compliance with professional standards.
- Deliver evidence-based MSK Podiatry interventions, fostering positive outcomes for patients.
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Podiatry with HCPC registration.
- Experience as a Band 7 MSK Podiatrist managing MSK Podiatry caseloads.
- Proficiency in running MSK clinics independently and assessing/treating MSK conditions.
- Strong skills in clinical assessment, reasoning, care planning, and discharge planning.
- Expertise in manufacturing and modifying orthoses.
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience working within multidisciplinary MSK services and supporting service development.
- Expertise with bespoke insole manufacture.
