Salary: €41,075 – €59,360 per annum

Overview
Sanctuary Personnel, an award-winning recruitment agency specialising in healthcare across Ireland, is currently seeking a dedicated Basic Grade Dietician to join a specialist in-patient mental health and neurodisability service based in Rathfarnham, Dublin 16.

Role Summary
As a Dietician, you will provide a comprehensive, evidence-based dietetic service to adults in long-term mental health and neurodisability care. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, and implement nutrition and dietetic interventions that support recovery, health, and wellbeing. Key Responsibilities of the Dietician

Deliver high-quality dietetic care to adults with complex neuro and mental health conditions.

Conduct nutritional assessments, develop treatment plans, and evaluate progress.

Manage cases involving enteral feeding and complex feeding issues such as oral-motor dysfunction.

Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to case conferences and care planning.

Provide dietetic advice and education to residents, families, and colleagues.

Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with CORU and HSE standards.

Participate in service improvement projects, clinical audits, and professional development.

Promote a culture of dignity, equality, and respect in all interactions.

Requirements
Essential:

Recognised qualification in Dietetics and current registration with CORU.

Minimum of 1.5 years post-qualification experience.

Experience working with adults with neurodisability and/or mental health needs.

Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous professional development.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to manage workload effectively.

Desirable:

Experience developing and delivering dietetic or nutrition education programmes.

Involvement in clinical audit, quality improvement, or research.

Strong IT and report-writing skills.
