What you will do
- Medicines Management: Provide medicines reconciliation and medicines management support to patients on wards.
- Accuracy Checking: Undertake Accuracy Checking Technician duties within the dispensary, ensuring safe and accurate dispensing processes.
- Ward Support: Work closely with ward teams to optimise medication management and support patient care.
- Discharge Planning: Liaise with clinical staff regarding discharge medications to facilitate safe and timely patient discharge.
- Cancer Services Support: Assist the pharmacy cancer centre with prescriptions for inpatients, outpatients, and related pharmacy services.
- Team Collaboration: Work alongside pharmacists, technicians, and healthcare professionals to deliver a high-quality pharmacy service.
- System Compliance: Utilise Electronic Prescribing and Medicines Administration (EPMA) systems effectively within daily practice.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation in accordance with professional and organisational standards.
- Quality and Safety: Ensure compliance with medicines governance, pharmacy procedures, and patient safety requirements
