What you will do:
Undertake specialist Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions.
Manage a defined caseload of service users with complex needs, promoting recovery and independence.
Deliver Occupational Therapy treatment programmes tailored to individual needs.
Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to contribute to care planning and risk management.
Supervise junior staff, support workers, and students, fostering a culture of learning and development.
Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation, ensuring compliance with professional standards.
Participate in service development and quality improvement activities, driving positive change.
Provide specialist Occupational Therapy advice and support, advocating for best practices in mental health and learning disabilities.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy with HCPC registration.
Proven experience in mental health and learning disability settings.
Strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills, with the ability to manage an autonomous caseload.
Postgraduate training and an up-to-date CPD portfolio reflecting your commitment to professional development.
Experience in leadership and management.
Experience in forensic settings.
Sensory integration experience.
