What you will do:
- Perform abdominal, renal, pelvic, transabdominal, and transvaginal ultrasound examinations.
- Produce accurate diagnostic reports for effective patient care.
- Manage and reduce the waiting list initiative patients, focusing on those waiting more than 365 days.
- Maintain precise ultrasound records and documentation.
- Ensure high standards of patient care and imaging quality.
- Support the reduction of long-wait ultrasound backlogs.
Requirements:
- Qualified Sonographer with relevant professional registration.
- Experience in NHS Sonography, specifically in abdominal, renal, pelvic, transabdominal, and transvaginal ultrasound scans.
- Ability to independently scan and report, combined with strong communication and organisational skills.
- Experience in scanning necks, thyroids, and testes, and assessing soft tissue lumps and hernias.
- Musculoskeletal ultrasound experience would be advantageous.
