What you will do:
- Assess and treat patients within acute stroke services.
- Deliver Occupational Therapy interventions within HASU, ASU and Stroke Rehabilitation pathways.
- Complete functional assessments and treatment planning.
- Support discharge planning and rehabilitation goals.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary stroke teams.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and reports.
- Facilitate recovery and independence following stroke.
- Support patient-centred rehabilitation programmes.
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
- HCPC registration.
- HASU experience, ASU experience or Stroke Rehabilitation experience.
- Acute Therapies experience.
- NHS experience.
- Strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills.
- Ability to manage a specialist stroke caseload.
- Neurorehabilitation experience.
