We are seeking a Band 6 Occupational Therapist specialising in Mental Health to join our dynamic team in Banbury. What you will do:

  • Deliver the primary care mental health service model, providing integrated physical and mental health care within a designated Primary Care Network.
  • Collaborate as part of the multidisciplinary team to support and provide expert advice to the Primary Care Team concerning triage, assessment, and treatment for mental health patients.
  • Manage referrals from primary care, promoting early assessment and treatment while maintaining robust relationships with community-based services.
  • Engage with adults experiencing severe mental illness, delivering care within a biopsychosocial framework in primary care settings.
  • Ensure seamless transitions between specialist community mental health services and primary care.
  • Conduct mental health and strengths-based assessments, aiding the Primary Care Team in accessing suitable services.

  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Must possess a valid driving licence to travel across various sites.
