What you will do:
- Deliver ward-based pharmacy technician support.
- Provide medicines management services on wards.
- Conduct the accuracy checking of dispensed medications.
- Support safe and effective medicines optimisation.
- Liaise effectively with multidisciplinary ward teams to ensure patient needs are met.
- Assist with medication reconciliation and supply processes.
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy and medicines management procedures.
Requirements:
- Must be a qualified and registered Pharmacy Technician.
- Hold an Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT) qualification.
- Have experience as a Medicines Management Technician (MMT).
- Experience working in ward-based hospital pharmacy settings.
- Able to function within an NHS pharmacy service.
Desirable requirements:
- Previous experience within an NHS Trust setting.
- Experience supporting a range of inpatient wards.
