We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist to join our Immunology Team in Aylesbury, specialising in Immunology, with a fantastic hourly rate of £26.00. What you will do:

Perform a range of complex laboratory tests in Immunology and Biochemistry

Operate and maintain the Alinity analyser, Architect, AMS, and Q-Pulse systems

Interpret results and escalate any unusual or complex issues

Contribute to quality control and assurance procedures

Collaborate closely with clinical teams to provide expert input

Manage daily laboratory operations and support junior staff
Requirements:

HCPC registration is essential
-
A BSc in Biomedical Science or equivalent qualification required

Must have a completed IBMS Specialist Portfolio in Clinical Biochemistry or equivalent Band 6-level experience

Recent hospital-based experience in Immunology and Biochemistry is important

Knowledge of relevant analysers and systems

At least 2 years of experience in a similar role

Driving is preferable for ease of commute
