What you will do:
- Assess and treat children experiencing faltering growth and manage restricted eating presentations
- Evaluate and oversee cases involving food allergies and enteral feeding requirements
- Deliver personalised nutritional assessments and treatment plans
- Conduct both new and follow-up appointments with thorough clinical documentation
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to support families and carers
- Play a pivotal role in reducing waiting times and easing service pressures to enhance patient care
- Utilise admin time effectively to maintain comprehensive records and follow through on patient care
Requirements:
- HCPC registration and substantial paediatric dietetics experience
- Expertise in managing faltering growth, restricted eating, and food allergies
- Proficiency in handling enteral feeding and complex feeding difficulties
- Strong communication and organisational skills with the ability to manage an independent caseload
- Completion of BDA Paediatric Modules
- Involvement in acute paediatric services and enteral feeding reviews
Additional Information:
- Full-time weekdays
- 5 to 6 appointments per day
- Admin time allocated in the afternoon
- Paper-based clinical records with internal IT systems training provided
