This is an exciting opportunity for two experienced Team Managers to join Orkney Islands Council Community Care Services for an initial 6-month locum contract, subject to review and potential extension. What you will do.
Lead and manage teams delivering high-quality community care services in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Oversee service delivery planning with a focus on adult health, community care, and social care services.
Manage health and safety protocols, ensuring robust risk management practices are in place.
Handle budget management, ensuring financial efficiency within service operations.
Supervise workforce management, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
Collaborate with local authority and NHS services to enhance care delivery.
Experience required.
Proven management experience in adult health, community care, or social care services, ideally within a local authority or NHS setting.
Leadership skills with a track record of managing teams to deliver high-quality services.
Expertise in health and safety, risk management, and budget oversight.
Workforce management experience, ensuring compliance with legislation.
