What you will do

  • Assess motor, perceptual, and sensory integration skills of children and young people using a variety of assessment tools and methods.
  • Complete comprehensive Occupational Therapy assessments, clearly communicating findings and recommendations.
  • Deliver Occupational Therapy interventions tailored to individual, group, and classroom-based needs.
  • Develop and contribute to multidisciplinary therapeutic support plans.
  • Support pupils in accessing learning opportunities and improving overall wellbeing.
  • Produce detailed reports to support Annual Reviews and Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) outcomes.
  • Deliver sensory, functional, and life skills interventions tailored to individual needs.
  • Provide practical advice, training, and guidance to educational staff, parents, and carers.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation in line with professional standards.
  • Participate in service development and quality improvement initiatives to enhance outcomes for pupils.
