Join our Integrated Therapy Services Team at Conquest Hospital in St Leonards-on-Sea, East Sussex. As part of the Community Health & Integrated Care Division, you will take on leadership and clinical responsibilities within our Integrated Discharge Team for a long-term placement spanning approximately 17 weeks.

What you will do:
- Deliver specialist Occupational Therapy interventions for medical and surgical patients, ensuring best practice and patient-centred care.
- Manage, coordinate, and evaluate Occupational Therapy service delivery within the Integrated Discharge Team.
- Provide line management and supervision to Occupational Therapy staff, fostering a supportive and effective team environment.
- Monitor standards of care and ensure staff competency remains at the highest level.
- Participate in Integrated Community Equipment Service pooled budget meetings, contributing to informed financial decisions.
- Ensure Clinical Governance standards are maintained, upholding quality and safety in all aspects of service delivery.
- Support recruitment, appraisals, Continuing Professional Development (CPD), and workforce development activities.
- Provide specialist advice on complex cases, guiding best outcomes for rehabilitation pathways.
- Contribute to service improvement and multidisciplinary working, spearheading initiatives that enhance patient care.
Additional Information:
- Monday to Friday, with hours from 08:00 to 16:00, providing a structured and predictable work schedule.
