What you will do
- Actively safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people in your care.
- Report any unsafe practices and conditions immediately to ensure safety and compliance.
- Establish and maintain structure, boundaries, and routines within the home.
- Undertake the role of a key worker for individual children, nurturing their development and creating personalised support plans.
- Deliver direct and tailored work to children and young people, focusing on their individual needs.
- Collaborate effectively as part of a team, offering support to less experienced staff within the home.
- Participate in relevant training programmes set by regulations and company guidelines to continue growing your skill set.
- Maintain accurate and detailed administrative records as required by the home’s standards.
- Work in partnership with colleagues, other agencies, and professionals to comprehensively meet the needs of young people.
