What you will do:

  • Lead and manage a team of social workers focused on Connected Persons Assessments, Regulation 24 assessments, and viability assessments.
  • Ensure assessments are thorough, analytical, relationship-based, and completed within statutory timescales.
  • Support the team in presenting assessments to fostering panels and provide quality assurance for high standards of practice.
  • Manage the team’s involvement in court proceedings, offering guidance on complex cases and decision-making.
  • Oversee the supervision and support provided to Kinship Foster Carers, ensuring they can provide high-quality care that helps children thrive.
