What you will do:
- Conduct post-mortem examinations and work closely with pathologists to help determine causes of death.
- Maintain precise records and reports, ensuring all findings are documented accurately.
- Safeguard specimens through meticulous sample management and processing.
- Manage and maintain mortuary facilities, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and safety.
- Provide guidance and supervision to junior team members, sharing your knowledge and expertise.
- Liaise with a diverse range of professionals and relatives, demonstrating compassion, sensitivity, and clear communication.
- Work within health and safety regulations, applying best practice to all procedures.
Qualifications and requirements:
- A minimum of two years' experience in a similar anatomical pathology or mortuary role is required.
- A valid driving licence is preferable, as travel between sites may be required.
