This ongoing position offers a competitive pay of £32.37 hourly, working Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:30, on a full-time basis. What you will do
- Perform a wide range of tests within the Haematology and Blood Transfusion department, ensuring accuracy and adherence to protocols.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.
- Maintain and operate laboratory equipment with precision, troubleshooting any issues that arise.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Participate in the weekend and blood sciences on-call rota after appropriate training, contributing to a responsive and efficient laboratory service.
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of Biochemistry.
- Over five years of post-registration work within NHS Laboratories.
- Haematology and blood transfusion knowledge is desirable to excel in this role.
