What you will do:
- Develop, assess, and evaluate person-centred care for individuals with mental health needs, ensuring each plan suits their unique circumstances.
- Perform comprehensive mental health and risk assessments to create effective care and risk management plans.
- Administer prescribed medications while closely monitoring patients, ensuring all activities align with NMC standards and organisational policies.
- Forge therapeutic relationships and provide support focused on recovery for service users and their families or carers.
- Keep a close watch on both the mental and physical health of patients, promptly identifying and escalating any concerns.
- Handle challenging behaviours by employing effective de-escalation and positive behavioural support techniques.
- Collaborate seamlessly with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and additional healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate clinical records, care plans, and reports, ensuring they are timely and thorough.
- Ensure adherence to safeguarding procedures, the Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act, and other pertinent legislation.
