We are seeking an experienced Band 5 Paediatric Staff Nurse to join the team at Princess Elizabeth Hospital in Guernsey for a 10-week block booking. What you will do
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centred care to children and their families.
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement care plans.
- Monitor and assess the development of your patients, adjusting treatments as required.
- Provide support and education to patients, families, and carers.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure effective communication with all stakeholders.
Requirements
- NMC Registration: NMC Registration as a Children's Nurse or Sick Children's Nurse.
- Paediatric experience: Experience in paediatric nursing with the ability to work autonomously.
- PILS: PILS certification is essential, EPALS certification is desirable.
- Teamwork: Strong teamwork skills within a multidisciplinary team (MDT).
Travel and accommodation details
Travel costs from the UK to Guernsey will be reimbursed, making your transition smooth. Accommodation is self-covered and ranges from £110 to £160 per week, with options for shared or en-suite facilities.

You will be based on the Tauenay Ward at Princess Elizabeth Hospital, located in the serene village of St Martin, Guernsey. It is a great opportunity to explore this beautiful island and work in a fantastic short-term contract.
