What you will do

Manage a caseload typically ranging from 20 to 24 cases, incorporating a mix of complex Child in Need, Child Protection, and assessments.

Conduct assessments and provide robust support to foster carers and children, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

Engage with colleagues, foster carers, and agencies to ensure collaborative working in safeguarding children.

Remain on duty for one full week every three weeks, handling urgent cases and being available for crisis situations and Section 47 enquiries.

Participate in fortnightly supervision sessions, contributing to team development and personal professional growth.

Travel requirements: You must be prepared to consistently travel within Torbay and occasionally out of county to visit children placed externally.

Remote working arrangements: While remote work is indeed permitted, office attendance is expected up to three times per week, with full-time presence necessary during duty weeks.
