What you will do:
- Deliver comprehensive, patient-centred care to individuals with substance misuse issues.
- Undertake health assessments, manage recovery planning, and offer wound care and clinical interventions.
- Administer OST and engage in harm reduction activities, including opioid overdose management with Naloxone.
- Conduct phlebotomy and BBV screening, providing guidance to reduce risks related to drug and alcohol use.
- Deliver both one-on-one and group psychosocial interventions, providing empathetic and effective support.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to safeguarding and risk management efforts.
Requirements:
- Valid NMC registration and PIN as a Registered Nurse with experience in substance misuse settings.
- Familiarity with prescribing practices, harm reduction, and screening processes.
- Ability to navigate recovery planning and perform thorough health assessments.
