What you will do
- Deliver expert, evidence-based case management services for referrals related to attendance, fitness for work, and other occupational health advice requests.
- Provide professional, comprehensive, and evidence-based written reports.
- Offer expert advice on legislative requirements and best practices related to occupational health.
- Conduct fitness medicals and health surveillance in line with best practice requirements and our company’s policies and protocols.
- Evaluate the results of medicals and surveillance, communicating the appropriate advice on fitness and escalating as needed.
- Maintain a current and valid NMC registration, adhering to professional guidelines on clinical supervision and continuous learning.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Spirometry, Audiometry, General Medicals, Case Management, and Fitness for Role Assessment.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse Part 1.
- Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health Degree or Diploma.
- Meticulous written communication skills and an eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with a range of stakeholders.
- Understanding of personal competencies, practice limits, and when to seek support to ensure safe practices.
- Comprehensive understanding of data protection and confidentiality principles in occupational health.
- Experience in delivering case management and occupational health advice is preferred.
- Proficiency in Spirometry, Audiometry, General Medicals, Case Management, and Fitness for Role Assessment.
