What you will do
- Manage a caseload of care-experienced young people and conduct statutory assessments, interventions and reviews.
- Develop, implement, and regularly review Pathway Plans focused on the unique needs and aspirations of each young person.
- Build and sustain effective professional relationships with young people, ensuring their voices guide planning and decision-making.
- Facilitate access to suitable accommodation, education, employment, training, and health services for young people.
- Conduct risk assessments and safeguarding enquiries, maintaining adherence to statutory duties and local procedures.
Qualifications
- Degree or Master's Degree in Social Work or an equivalent recognised qualification is required.
- Successful completion of the Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) is desirable.
- Evidence of continuing professional development is essential.
Registration & Compliance
- You must be registered with Social Work England (SWE).
Experience
- Experience working within statutory Children's Social Care services is necessary.
- Proven experience supporting looked after children, care leavers or adolescents transitioning to adulthood is essential.
