What you will do
- Support the Team Manager or Deputy Team Manager in embedding Birmingham Children's Trust's Connections Count Practice Model across the service.
- Deliver effective interventions and support programmes designed to reduce reoffending and improve outcomes for young people.
- Develop specialist knowledge and contribute to best practice within the Youth Justice Service.
- Participate in quality assurance activities, audits, and service reviews.
- Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to deliver high-quality Youth Justice services in line with legislation and evidence-based practice.
- Manage and oversee complex casework, ensuring accurate and timely record keeping.
- Support the induction, mentoring, and development of new or less experienced staff members.
- Engage positively with young people, families, carers, and professionals to achieve agreed outcomes.
- Ensure service user records comply with Youth Justice Service standards and requirements.
