You will manage a specialist and complex caseload while providing clinical leadership and professional support to colleagues. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist looking to combine hands-on clinical practice with team management responsibilities while supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex mental health needs.

What you will do

  • Manage Complex Caseloads: Take responsibility for a specialist or complex Occupational Therapy caseload, ensuring high-quality and person-centred interventions.
  • Complete Assessments: Undertake detailed Occupational Therapy and functional assessments to identify individual needs and priorities.
  • Develop Treatment Plans: Create, implement, and review individualised treatment and intervention plans.
  • Support Complex Needs: Work with individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex mental health needs.
  • Deliver Occupational Therapy: Provide specialist input across both inpatient and community-based settings.
  • Contribute to MDT Working: Support multidisciplinary decision-making, care planning, and reviews with your specialist expertise.
  • Provide Leadership: Mentor, supervise, and develop junior Occupational Therapists and support staff.
  • Promote Safe Practice: Contribute to safeguarding, risk management, and clinical governance processes.
  • Improve Services: Participate in audits, research, quality improvement, and service development activities.
  • Maintain Documentation: Keep accurate and comprehensive clinical records, reports, and case documentation.
