The role involves effective management of anti-social behaviour cases, collaboration with colleagues in Property Services and Lettings to ensure the effective allocation of void properties, managing tenant expectations about repairs, and escalating any property maintenance issues affecting tenant welfare via appropriate channels. Responsibilities also include managing complaints about service delivery and working with colleagues in other service areas to help the organisation meet its compliance obligations (fire safety, water hygiene, gas safety, and data protection). Providing general advice on all aspects of tenancy to enable sustainability is essential, as well as working with a range of external agencies to resolve issues affecting tenant welfare including domestic abuse, anti-social behaviour, and safeguarding. Additionally, working with administrative colleagues to complete a range of tenancy management processes including tenancy conversions, permissions, mutual exchanges, successions, and service charges is required, along with enforcement of tenancy breaches.
Skills and experiences:
- Recent experience undertaking a similar role and a passion for supporting tenancy sustainment and working with vulnerable people.
- Proven experience of delivering high quality tenancy and customer service.
- Excellent skills in analysing and diagnosing problems and implementing solutions, ideally with experience of this in relation to anti-social behaviour.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Working knowledge of relevant regulations and good practice.
- An understanding of Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Travel will be a requirement of the role, therefore a full valid driving licence is essential.
