Worcester based with a balance of home and office working. £28,428 per year. 35 hours per week – Monday to Friday (part time considered). Temporary position for up to 12 months.

Role Overview

Join our Payroll Transactional team, based within the Corporate Shared Service Centre in Worcester. The team is responsible for processing all transactional elements for employee records, including new starters, contractual changes, leavers, completing contractual paperwork, and answering employee queries received via a ticketing service.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintenance of payroll records ensuring accuracy, completeness and adherence to financial controls in order to ensure regulatory, contractual and statutory requirements are met.
  • Work with wider teams to understand any contractual items, and process accurately to ensure employee records are compliant and accurate.
  • Assist in the development of payroll administration and processes to provide efficient, customer focused services across the Group.
  • Follow correct processes, governance and compliance to ensure controls are in place.

  • Experience of administration processes.

  • Experience of working to deadlines and prioritising work loads.
  • Excellent interpersonal and transactional skills.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
