The role will sit within Sanctuary’s Corporate Communications team and will focus on communications for our Group-wide technology projects. The job sits within the Communications department which manages brand strategy, digital, regional, internal, corporate and strategic communications. It produces a wide range of high-quality publications and materials to promote the Group to its key stakeholders.
The role of Senior Communications Officer will include:
- Create compelling pieces of content for technology innovation and change projects across a range of communications channels including, but not limited to, internal communications, web content, video, PR, social media, direct communications, presentations and publications.
- Work with the Technology and Corporate Communications teams to plan, manage and deliver impactful communications campaigns for technology projects.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, advising on and providing practical and cost-effective solutions for their communications challenges in order to communicate desired key messages and reach their target audience.
- Brief and liaise with technical specialists such as designers, web managers, printers and suppliers to ensure the delivery and quality of effective communications across all channels.
Skills and experiences:
- Experience in a similar communications role and understanding of communications channels and activities.
- Experience of managing communications for specific projects, planning activity, drafting content and maximising reach to key audiences.
- Proven experience analysing and diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions.
- Knowledge of design software and printing processes.

Role salary is £37,414 per annum (rising to £39,383 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance) (pro rata).
