We have an opportunity for a Senior Agile Delivery Lead to join our Technology Department based in Worcester. The role will report to the Head of Product and Engineering and provide strategic leadership for agile delivery across multiple product teams. It leads and coaches a team of Scrum Masters, with wider influence across cross‑functional delivery teams, rather than operating as a lone contributor. The team's purpose is to drive consistent, mature agile ways of working, strengthening delivery predictability, managing cross‑team dependencies, and embedding continuous improvement.

A key focus of the role is to raise overall agile and product management maturity, ensuring agile principles are applied consistently across complex enterprise platforms and that teams continuously evolve their practices to deliver value effectively.

The role of Senior Agile Delivery Lead will include:

  • Responsible for leading and maturing agile delivery across all product teams, ensuring consistent application of agile principles and effective delivery at scale.
  • The role provides leadership to Scrum Masters, manages cross‑team dependencies, and acts as a point of escalation for delivery risks and issues.
  • Embed and evolve agile and product management maturity, particularly across complex enterprise platforms such as SAP and Salesforce, while providing clear delivery insight and assurance to senior and executive stakeholders.
  • Engage with Product Owners and stakeholders to support effective product delivery.
  • Champion continuous improvement through metrics, retrospectives, and coaching.

Skills and experiences:

  • Comprehensive experience managing and mentoring Scrum Masters to drive high‑performing agile teams in a large and complex organisation.
  • Significant experience in unblocking impediments and resolving dependencies in large corporate environments.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and serve cross‑functional teams in complex delivery environments.
  • Strong proficiency with agile management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps.
  • Proven experience delivering agile initiatives within enterprise platforms such as SAP and Salesforce.
  • Proven ability to align agile delivery practices with governance and release processes in SAP and Salesforce ecosystems.

Effective 1st April role salary is £66,721 with an additional policy allowance of £12,977 per annum (rising to £70,233 with an additional policy allowance of £13,660 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance).
