We are seeking a Lead Business Analyst – Building Safety, who has a passion for seeking out improvements to join the Building Safety team. The team is responsible for ensuring that the Group meets all new and existing legislative and regulatory requirements with regards to building safety.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery, coordination and quality assurance of business analysis (BA) services enabling change and development in support of Building Safety objectives, and provide leadership and mentoring to colleagues within the BA team.
- Be a leader within the Business Analysis function, promoting active cross‑team and practice collaboration and communication, enabling and being responsible for decision making; provide a holistic viewpoint, challenge where necessary to minimise duplication and maximise value from existing investment, and ensure alignment to Group strategic goals.
- Coach and mentor Business Analyst activities, project or product management teams, plan ways of working and act as a point of escalation to support delivery.
- Carry out and ensure the estimation of complexity and effort for the delivery of BA services, ensuring appropriate resource management and task allocation for relevant programmes.
- Oversee work delivered by the Building Safety Analysis team to ensure agreed levels of service are achieved and delivered, enabling business efficiencies in line with Group objectives.
- Manage recruitment, performance, training and development of quality people to ensure required skilled employees are available to meet the needs of the service.
Qualifications
- Possession of a degree, management qualification or relevant professional qualification.
- Comprehensive experience of undertaking a similar role.
- Proven experience in management capabilities, including establishing deadlines and prioritising workloads for self and others.
