Your role:

  • Evaluate and analyse contract performance across a portfolio of mid-to-high-value Local Authority and NHS ICB accounts, identifying financial risks and recommending effective solutions.
  • Plan and deliver contract management activity, monitoring contracts against specifications to ensure compliance with legislation, regulatory standards, procurement processes, and contractual terms.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, proactively identifying and addressing service delivery and financial performance issues.
  • Lead and support end-to-end bid processes, from review and approval through to submission and award, ensuring high-quality tenders and supporting strong win rates.
  • Maintain accurate and effective filing systems, databases, and records to support robust contract management and service delivery tracking.
  • Identify, assess, and escalate risks within the contract portfolio, working with senior colleagues to ensure timely mitigation and resolution.
  • Support continuous improvement by contributing to projects, service developments, and change programmes aligned to team and organisational objectives.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role, consistently delivering high-quality outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of relevant legislation, regulations, and best practice, with the ability to apply this effectively in a practical setting.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and perform under pressure.
  • Sound working knowledge of contract management processes and their application to support effective service delivery.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to influence and build effective relationships with third-party suppliers and partners to achieve positive outcomes.
