We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Apprentice Chef to join our culinary team at Noble House, Worcester.

An apprenticeship is a powerful way to start your career in catering and hospitality. It offers the perfect balance of practical experience working alongside experienced professionals, gaining practical skills in food preparation, hygiene, customer service, and kitchen operations in a real working environment, and structured learning, allowing you to earn while you learn and gain a nationally recognised qualification.

The role of Apprentice Chef will include:

  • Assist in the delivery of a versatile and high-standard catering service that meets the needs and preferences of all customers.
  • Support residents with individual dietary requirements, including special diets and allergen considerations.
  • Help manage food stock and supplies to ensure menu delivery aligns with budgetary constraints and operational needs of the Taste restaurants.
  • Receive and check food stock deliveries, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Adhere to the Food Safety Management System, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records as required.
  • Perform routine cleaning of all food service areas and kitchen equipment to uphold high standards of hygiene and safety.

Skills and experiences:

  • A minimum of 2 GCSEs at grade D or E and above (grades 2–3) or equivalent in Maths and English.
  • A genuine interest in cooking and a desire to learn.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices (training will be provided).
  • A positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent service.
