Meadow View Residential Care Home, Blackthorn Road, Hersden, Canterbury, Kent, CT3 4GB

£15.73 per hour; 39 hours per week on night duty (8pm start, 12‑hour shifts). All will include alternate weekend working.

Responsibilities
  • Look after the day‑to‑day needs of residents, delivering personalised care aligned to individual care plans.
  • Lead, coach and motivate a team of Care Assistants, fostering a supportive and enjoyable team culture.
  • Support team development and organise leisure and social activities.
  • Maintain accurate records, comply with CQC/CI inspection requirements and achieve inspection bonuses.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Experience in health and social care; NVQ3 in Social Care desirable.
  • Previous leadership experience with team coaching and mentoring.
  • Strong communication skills and a flexible, supportive approach.
  • Commitment to dignity, respect and genuine care for older people.
