This is an exciting opportunity for a Scheme Manager to join the North West Independent Living Team as we bring a brand new Scheme onboard. In this role you will act as the driving force on our customer journey creating a seamless and welcoming experience from first contact to settling into our new vibrant community in South Manchester.
The role of Scheme Manager will include:
- Promote resident involvement and provide information on local community services and agencies
- Encourage residents to maintain their well-being and independence through the effective delivery of high quality, safe and value for money housing support services
- Meet all legislative and regulatory requirements for housing services activities to ensure clean and safe homes for the Group’s customers
- Effectively manage relationships with key stakeholders, service providers including contractors and residents
- Coordinate the delivery of local services to ensure the scheme(s) are maintained and kept clean and secure, in accordance with Group standards and lease obligations
Skills and experiences:
- Numeracy and literacy to the equivalent of GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths
- Strong Interpersonal and organisational Skills with fantastic attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills across all mediums including face to face, written and digital
- Empathetic with a customer focus
- Ability to build strong communities through customer stakeholder and partnership engagement
- Previous experience dealing with conflict resolution
