Worcester based with a balance of home and office working£48,611 – £51,169 per year35 hours per weekWe have an opportunity for a Solicitor– Property to join our Property team, based within Legal Services. The main purpose of this role is to support the management and delivery of property-related legal services to the Group ensuring compliance with regulations and business policies.

The role of Solicitor – Property will include:

Manage programmes and initiatives affecting the Group\’s property portfolio to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulation

Assist in managing the Group\’s external legal providers, ensuring the delivery of a quality service that represents value for money

Manage own caseload of legal work including sales, leases, infrastructure agreements

Manage and maintain relationships with internal and external customers, providing excellent customer service

Review and update relevant policies and procedures to ensure continued compliance with legal and regulatory requirements

Skills and experiences:

Qualified Solicitor or FCILEX

Recent experience of managing property related legal transactions

Proven achievement working in a commercially focussed legal role

Working knowledge of property law, housing regulations and current best practice

Excellent customer care and communication skills

£48,611 per annum (rising to £51,169 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
