Salary: £25,459 - £26,799 per year
Hours: 40 hours per week – Monday to Friday
We have an opportunity for an Estate Technician to join our well-established Estate Services team, based in Salisbury. You will be part of a small team, primarily lone working carrying out Grounds Maintenance on properties at our sheltered and general needs services as well as completing ad-hoc duties such as removal of fly-tipping and gutter cleaning.
The role of Estate Technician will include:
- Carrying out grounds maintenance tasks
- Completing ad-hoc work orders which may include cleaning of gutters and removal of fly tipping from our schemes
- Completing daily work records and maintaining stock levels
- Ensuring tools and equipment are kept in a useable condition
- Working with customers to resolve issues and improve services
- Providing accurate information and updates on the progress of allocated work
Skills and experiences:
- Working knowledge and experience of undertaking grounds maintenance, caretaking, general cleaning and basic repairs duties
- Some experience of working to deadlines and prioritising work loads
- Recent experience in interpreting written instructions and maintaining simple written records
- Working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
- Excellent interpersonal and customer care skills
This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK manual driving licence.
