As a Regional Maintenance Operative working within the Care Asset Team, the role is to provide support to the existing team that works within the care homes located in Central/Greater London.
You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents and staff, as well as maintaining the overall presentation of the homes and gardens.
Regular health and safety checks are essential to create a safe environment for everyone. This may include fire alarm, water flushing, and bed safety checks, among others. Effective communication is vital in your role.
You will regularly engage with residents, their families, and colleagues as part of your daily activities. Additionally, you will liaise with contractors, coordinate their services, and ensure that work is completed to a high standard.
As this is a regional role, visits to other homes may be necessary to provide cover or as part of planned maintenance activities.

- Practical skills in recognizing and performing minor repairs are important, such as basic plumbing skills and DIY experience.

- The role will include use of an iPad and or Laptop along with compliance applications that you will use daily.
