We have an exciting opportunity for a Regional Head of Service to join our Property Services Department. For this role you will be responsible for leading the development, maintenance and review of strategies regarding the viability of the Group's assets, ensuring investment programmes are delivered and providing strategic direction to the development and delivery of the Group’s property services including Voids, Estate Services, Responsive Repairs and planned works to ensure that customers receive high quality, safe and value for money services, that meet their identified needs and are in line with the Group's objectives and regulatory requirements.

The role of Regional Head of Service will include:

• Delivering high quality property services including responsive repairs, voids, estates and investment programmes within agreed capital and revenue expenditure through effective financial management to achieve timely completion of projects and ensure value for money.
• Ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of property investment strategies in line with the Group's corporate objectives and external regulatory and funding requirements.
• Leading major asset projects and delivering asset improvement programmes to ensure that the Group's assets are of high quality, well maintained and provide value for money.
• Providing effective leadership in promoting and maintaining an effective organisational culture, safe working and performance focused environment for staff.
• Ensuring all legislative and regulatory requirements for housing services activities are met to ensure safe homes for our customers, thus minimising potential risks.
• Establishing and maintaining relationships at a national, regional and local level to develop and protect the Group’s image and brand, representing the Group as needed in the establishment of policy and best practice at all levels.
• Reporting and making recommendations to Committees, the Executive team, and other senior managers to support decision making, business planning and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Managing the development and review of policy frameworks and planning to deliver property services, ensuring appropriate strategies, policies and procedures are developed and implemented as appropriate.

Skills and experiences:

• Degree, management qualification or relevant professional qualification.
• Substantial experience of working within the Property industry and delivering effective and efficient services.
• Proven experience of implementing strategy for a large, complex organisation.
• Proven knowledge of delivering services within an organisational structure which includes a group parent and subsidiary organisations.
• Proven track record of demonstrating commercial acumen, achieving results including growth.
• Extensive knowledge of housing regulations, legislation and current projects.
• Substantial experience of managing projects with strong project management skills.
• Proven experience of working to deadlines and prioritising workloads.

This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence.

£94,662 per annum (rising to £99,645 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance).
