Your role:

  • Plan and deliver engaging activities that support residents’ physical, mental and social wellbeing.
  • Get to know residents as individuals and involve them in activities they enjoy.
  • Work closely with colleagues to create a positive, inclusive and fun atmosphere.
  • Encourage participation from residents, families and the wider community.
  • Bring new ideas and creativity to activities that enrich daily life.

A caring, enthusiastic and kind approach with a genuine interest in older people is essential. Strong teamwork skills and a willingness to support colleagues, good communication skills, and a flexible approach to your work are also important. You should have the energy, creativity and confidence to engage others, along with a commitment to treating everyone with dignity and respect.
