We have an opportunity for a Service Delivery Manager – Gas, to join our team based in Paignton.
Sanctuary Maintenance Contractors Limited is a subsidiary of Sanctuary Housing Association, an exempt charity that provides in‑house repairs and maintenance for a wide range of properties.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and ensure the delivery of a high‑quality, cost‑effective maintenance service across multiple sites that meets the needs of our customers, in line with organisational and financial regulations.
- Manage a team of gas and renewable engineers carrying out services, repairs, installations of gas boilers and heating systems in social housing.
- Manage the delivery of all works on behalf of Property Services to support performance delivery and compliance.
- Ensure the effective service delivery of quality maintenance services from field‑based engineers, ensuring that suitably trained and experienced resources are on‑site.
- Recruit, manage performance and develop quality field‑based engineers to meet contract and service specifications.
- Provide technical support to field‑based engineers and assist in improving business efficiency without compromising compliance.
- Coordinate, communicate and maintain relationships with internal and external customers. Work closely with the Home Office to prevent unlawful working.
- Drive company vehicles as required, holding a full valid UK driving licence.
Qualifications
- Previous experience managing a team of gas engineers.
- Working knowledge of health and safety and building safety legislation.
- Ability to use and update computerised systems (including PDA) for work scheduling.
- Qualified to CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, CPA1, Gas Auditing Qualification, HTR1, Unvented – G3 Certificate, Water Regulations (WRAS) or currently undertaking the qualification – candidates must bring original certification proving their qualifications; copies and CSCS cards will not be accepted.
- Basic Disclosure and Barring Service check will be necessary, which Sanctuary will pay for.
