We’re looking for a National Compliance Coordinator to join our Compliance team based in Worcester, which currently consists of over 60 dedicated professionals. As one of the UK’s largest social landlords, Sanctuary owns and manages thousands of properties, and ensuring the safety of our residents is at the heart of everything we do. In this role, you’ll play a key part in maintaining high standards of safety and compliance across our housing stock.
We’re seeking someone with a solid background in property compliance, ideally with experience in reviewing processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing best practices. You’ll be detail‑oriented but also able to take a strategic view, helping to shape the direction of our compliance programme. This is a leadership role, so we’re looking for a confident and experienced team manager who can inspire high performance, handle staffing matters with empathy and professionalism, and deliver quality outcomes through effective team management.
The role of National Compliance Coordinator will include:
- Leading a team of 8 to 10 within our electrical safety function, working closely with contractors and internal teams to deliver our electrical compliance program.
- Building strong relationships with colleagues and external partners, offering clear guidance, support, and advice.
Skills and experiences:
- Proven experience in a compliance‑related role or similar operational environment.
- Knowledge of electrical safety standards, with experience of BS7671 considered advantageous.
- Strong background in staff management, with the ability to lead, motivate and develop a team.
- Some experience in budget management and financial oversight.
- Good working knowledge of Health and Safety.
