Your role:
- Support customers with mental health needs to build confidence and reach their potential
- Provide a hands-on, high-quality support service
- Encourage daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, shopping and community involvement
- Promote social inclusion and help customers develop resilience and self-esteem
- Work with agencies on behalf of customers, encouraging choice and acting as an advocate when needed
- Maintain a safe environment and follow relevant regulations and practices
Skills and experience:
- Caring, approachable nature
- Ability to keep accurate records and share information clearly with the team
- Excellent communication skills to build positive relationships with customers, families and agencies
- Experience working effectively as part of a team
- Positive and accepting approach to customers whatever their needs
- NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it
- Proficient technology/IT skills (Microsoft Office and similar)
