We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager to lead recruitment activity across our Housing and Property business area. As a new role within the wider Talent Acquisition and Experience team, this position will be responsible for managing and delivering a new, high-quality, inclusive resourcing service that helps Housing and Property attract, select and appoint the right talent to meet both current and future workforce needs. The role will also contribute to the development of the business area’s resourcing strategy and lead significant recruitment projects where required.

The role of Talent Acquisition Manager - Housing and Property will include:

  • Lead the delivery of a new end-to-end recruitment service for the Housing & Property business area, while driving improvements in key metrics, including time to hire and hiring manager time saved
  • Review cost effective and good practice resourcing solutions, including analysing existing arrangements, reporting on market trends and making recommendations to support business decision making, ensuring outcomes and impact are demonstrated
  • Promote employer branding and provide input into developing design strategies within Group protocols to maximise the impact of advertising media to attract high quality candidates
  • Partner with key stakeholders to understand current and future workforce needs, and support with Leadership recruitment where required, building strong working relationships
  • Provide ongoing development and input into assessment and selection methods, improving processes and attraction methods and supporting this delivery through the team
  • Provide analysis on Housing & Property resourcing campaigns to Talent leads to ensure efficiencies, cost effectiveness and return on investment are achieved
  • Manage agency and supplier relationships to ensure value for money
  • Ensure all recruitment activity meets legislative and regulatory requirements
  • Manage the recruitment, performance and development of Housing & Property Talent Acquisition Specialists, Advisors and Planners
  • Contribute to wider people initiatives and continuous improvement projects

Skills and experiences:

  • Proven experience in a talent acquisition or resourcing managerial role
  • Proven experience of managing and delivering an end-to-end recruitment process
  • Thorough understanding of resourcing processes and best practice solutions
  • Proven experience of providing recruitment support and advice to staff at all levels
  • Proven experience of managing 3rd party suppliers and campaigns
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations, legislation and current practice
  • Proven experience of delivering large scale recruitment projects
  • Proven experience in employee and team management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Strong organisational and planning ability
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
  • Experience of web based recruitment software
  • Intermediate HR systems e.g. SAP HR
  • Intermediate Microsoft 365
